Characteristics of PSO mineral oil (Petroleum Spray Oil)

- PSO mineral oil is extracted from crude oil distillation technology according to special processes and requirements, mixed with water to spray on plants to prevent pests.

- The main ingredient of PSO mineral oil is branched saturated straight chain hydrocarbon (Iso paraffin), in addition to saturated cyclic hydrogen (Naphthalenes) and unsaturated cyclic hydrogen (Aromatic) and has added emulsifiers to be water soluble.

- PSO mineral oil is used as a spider repellent, eliminating pests (broad spectrum), and at the same time limiting some diseases and also used as a support agent for pesticides and herbicides. For pests, mineral oil has the effect of causing asphyxiation (by blocking breathing), egg rot and behavior change (eating, laying eggs). For diseases, the oil prevents the germination of spores, limits the spread and breaks the cell membrane of spores.

- PSO mineral oil is a broad-spectrum, highly effective product against red spiders, eriophyes, panicle spider ,mealybugs, aphid psyllid in all kinds, leafminer, whiteflies, citrus psyllid on fruit and industrial plants, vegetables, ornamental plants, greenhouse plants.

- PSO mineral oil does not cause product resistance effects, belongs to toxic group IV, is less toxic to plants, safe for humans, shrimp, fish, less harmful to natural enemies, leaving no residue on agricultural products, suitable for IPM program and clean agricultural product production.
